With broken hearts and deep sadness, we the family announce the sudden passing of our beautiful daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Amy Corrine Boutilier, age 39, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born in North Sydney on March 13, 1979, Amy was the daughter of Peter and Corrine (MacDonald) Boutilier. She graduated from Memorial High School and continued her studies at Cape Breton University where she graduated with a BBA. She worked in human resources and marketing in both Halifax and Fort McMurray. She loved her family dearly and was especially close to her brother Mark.
Amy is survived by her parents Peter and Corrine, her brother Mark (Jennifer) Boutilier, Millville and their children Daelynn, Gibson and Stratten, also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Walter and Marion MacDonald, her paternal grandparents Roy and Eileen Boutilier, uncles David & Robert Boutilier.
A private service was held for Amy in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney with Deacon Greg Murphy officiating, and burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney.
