It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, uncle and friend, David Harding age 68, on Tuesday July 23, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Born in Sydney Mines, April 1, 1951, David was the son of the late William and Beatrice (Large) Harding. He worked for many years as a landscaper but was a man of many talents, he enjoyed carpentry, woodworking, gardening, loved the outdoors spending time in the woods, fly fishing and tying his own flies.

David is survived by a brother Lee (Marcie) Harding, Ontario, sister-in-law Carol Harding, a nephew Robert Harding, also by his close friend and loving companion Cheryl Chambers, North Sydney and by her children Christopher (Tammy) Ellis, Shannon Ellis, her granddaughter Marley who was very close to David.

Besides his parents David was predeceased by brothers William, Arthur, Roy and Terry, by a sister Joyce.

By request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
