It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our infant son Dawson William Wayne MacAulay-Pero on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.

Dawson is survived by his loving parents George Pero and Melissa MacAulay, North Sydney, his paternal grandfather, William Nelson Pero, Florence; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Geraldine MacAulay, North Sydney and his four aunts, Sonya (Andrew) Stamper, Sydney Mines, Sarah Pero (Brad Young), Catherine Pero, both of Sydney, Nicole Pero, Sydney Mines, also by many cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Mary Jane Pero, great-grandparents Gerald and Sonja McInnis, North Sydney, Angus and Cecilia MacAulay, Sydney Mines, William and Florence Donovan and George and Sarah (Sadie) Pero, both of Florence.

There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney.
