It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, brother and uncle, Patrick Joseph McInnis, age 58, on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019.

Born in North Sydney on March 17 1961, Patty was the son of the late Elmer and Vonnie (Norris) McInnis, George's River.

Patty touched the lives of many people with kindness, always willing and ready to help whenever needed. He is going to be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Patty is survived by his daughter whom he cherished, Karla McInnis, his “little buddy" daughter Briana MacMullin, his lifelong friend Callista MacMullin, his brothers, Elmer, Dale and Michael,  sisters Cathy, Linda and Janet, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved their “Uncle Jack".

Besides his parents Patty was predeceased by a brother Stephen McInnis. A Celebration of Life will be held 6-8 pm Saturday, Nov. 30th at the George's River Firehall, where in accordance with Patty's wishes we'll be “Propping him up by the Jukebox".

Patty is continuing to help others by being an organ donor.
