Born in Jacques Fontaine, Newfoundland, on November 4, 1931, Sarah was the daughter of the late John and Jessie (Hatch) Johnson. Many happy hours were spent with her Arthur camping in Lake Ainslie. Her greatest pastime was bingo where she met many new friends. Sarah was faithful and loved her God. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church in North Sydney.
