It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother Theresa Marie Warren, age 89 on Saturday September 21, 2019, at the Northside Community Guest Home, North Sydney.

Born in Alder Point, January 6, 1930, Theresa was the daughter of the late Homer and Florence LeBlanc. She was raised by her aunt Margaret LeBlanc (Devoe-Morrison). In her earlier years Theresa enjoyed bowling, yoga, bingo and was passionate about dancing and her love of music. Theresa will be remembered for her sense of humor, especially her blue eyes, beautiful smile and her ability to make people laugh.

Theresa is survived by her children Marie (Charlie) Young, Mansel (Gwen) Warren, Raymond (Donna) Warren, Diane (Bill) Clevett, Sheila (Dale) MacDougall, Linda (Marty) VanMaar  Margaret Ann Warren (Greg Merritt), Stan (Jill) Lagatdu. Theresa will also be remembered by her cherished grandchildren Kimberley Gooding and Jason Warren, Charmaine Ruston, Theresa Warren and Clayton Osmond, Charlene LeBlanc and Trevor VanMaar, Sam and Emily MacDougall, Arabella and Grady Lagatdu, great grandchildren Katelyn, Jordon, Noah and Liam Gooding, Ashton and Tyson Osmond, by her brother Chester LeBlanc, Alder Point, her sister Katherine Choquette, Montreal.

Theresa was predeceased by her sons Calvin and Wayne Warren, a daughter Linda in infancy, brothers Les, Cecil, Francis, Peter and Rosco LeBlanc, by her cousins she grew up with as siblings; Bill, Jack, Raymond, Francis, George, Kelly, Emma and Sis.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Bill MacDonald for his continuous years of care and for the compassion, special care and love she received from the staff and numerous friends she made while residing at the Northside Community Guest Home during the past two years.

Visitation for Theresa will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church, Main St., Sydney Mines with Rev. Jim Oliver officiating. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Sydney Mines.
