William J. “Bill” Murphy 86
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our father, grandfather and brother, William James “Bill” Murphy, age 86, on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Northside General Hospital.
Born in Halifax on April 12, 1931, he was the son of the late William J. and Pearl (Smith) Murphy. Bill loved music, playing his guitar and was a big Blue Jays fan. He loved watching movies, enjoyed travelling to Florida and spending time with family at their cottage in River Bourgeois. He had a quick wit and a great sense of humour. He will be deeply missed.
