Beverly Ann Boutilier

It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Beverly Ann Boutilier, age 61, on Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Born in North Sydney on August 20, 1963, Beverly was the daughter of the late John and Verna “Mae” (MacDonald) Boutilier.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Nicole (Matt) Cormier; sister, Theresa (Daniel) Nicholson; nieces, Verna (Paul) Fraser, Kelly Collins, Dana Boutilier; nephews, Jay Boutilier, David Boutilier; grandchild, Audrey Cormier; grand nieces, Kelly Fraser, Kendra Fraser, Holly (Charles) Bennett; grandnephew, Cody Nicholson; great grandniece, Saelor Bennett; sisters in law, Dale Boutilier, Adele Boutilier.

Besides her parents Beverly was predeceased by her siblings: Deanne Boutilier, Jackie Boutilier, Ken Boutilier.

Beverly had a special bond with her family. She was a special “Nanny B” to Audrey. She was always there to help others. Beverly had many friends in her life. She loved her trips to PEI to spend time visiting with family. She was also blessed with special friends who were always there to check in on her and support her especially in the most recent years of her life.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the EMT’s, ER Department, special nurses and doctors within the ICU at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney. Online condolences may be sent to the family by writing on the tribute wall of the obituary page.
