It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Carol Marie MacIntyre, aged 80, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, on June 7, 2026 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. She was a resident of the Northside Guest Home for the last nine months.

Born in Mill Creek on August 7, 1945, Carol was the daughter of the late Aloysius and Josephine (Marsh) Campbell. She worked for over thirty years with the Northside Victoria School Board as a supervisor with janitorial service. Family was paramount in Carol’s life. She cherished her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren especially. She loved the simple pleasures of a country drive to Marble Mountain, along with pink roses and sparkles. She will be dearly missed.

Left to mourn are her children – Allanna (Dave) MacFarlane, Glenda (Brian) Marsh, and David (Dorothy); grandchildren – Tyler (Lindsey) MacFarlane, Krystal MacIntyre, James David (Emma) MacIntyre, Leah Reynolds (Kaitlyn), Christopher Marsh; great-grandchildren – Alexander, Audrey, and Austen MacFarlane, Adam and Shane MacIntyre, and Oliver and Cooper Reynolds. She is further survived by sisters, June and Marina.

Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband, Allan MacIntyre; great-granddaughter, Cloe Marsh, as well as her brother, Gary, and her sister, Lynn.

There will be no service held at this time but a private family event will be organized at a later date. Arrangement are under the care and direction of W.J.
