It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Lynn Stubbert age 76, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, on Saturday March 11, 2023.

Born in Sydney Mines, May 26, 1946, Carol was the daughter of the late Daniel and Theresa (MacLean) Malanka. She attended the United Protestant Church, Sydney River.

Surviving is her husband John Stubbert, her children Judith (Leigh) Stubbert, Deborah (Joe) Westhaver, Jonathan Stubbert, Jeffrey (Tina) Stubbert, grandchildren Lara, Mya, Jenna, and Lauryn, brother John (Susan) Malanka, sister Vivian Medlyn, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her sister Judith and brother James.

Interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney at a later date. Many thanks to V.O.N. & Continuing Care. Memorial Donations can be made to ALS Society of New Brunswick & Nova Scotia.
