Catherine Martha “Cathy” Reid

November 9, 1941 – April, 2021

Peacefully, on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, in her 80th year.  Beloved wife of Roy, loving mother to Kimberly Durocher and Frank Durocher.  Cherished grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Daughter of the late Chester and Mary Gerrow.  Dear sister of Bobby and Clevie (Winnie).  She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. 

Cathy is predeceased by her brothers Harold, Ted, George, Joe, Donald, Jimmy and her sisters Virginia, Mary, Bertha and three other sisters in infancy. 

Cathy was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion – Hastings and the Rebecca.

Memorial donations to the Northumberland Hills Hospital or to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.

A graveside committal will be held at 3:30 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Lakeside Cemetery in North Sydney.
