It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christopher John “Boots” Boutilier, age 59, on Tuesday, April 11, at home.
Born in North Sydney on May 4, 1963, Chris was the son of the late John and Pauline (Stoodley) Boutilier. He worked for many years in Ontario as a supplier for the transport trucking industry. Chris was a quiet, easy going man who loved to laugh and joke around. He loved music and had a passion for photography and fishing.
Chris is survived by his partner Karen Musgrave; brothers Darren and Gary (Michelle) Boutilier; nephews Brian and Sean; grandnephew Everett.
Besides his parents, Chris was predeceased by his step mother Georgina Boutilier.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney. Visitation will take place from 2–3 pm, Tuesday, April 18 with Funeral Service immediately following in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon David Lewis officiating.
