Cynthia Marie Jesty

It is with great sadness that we, the Jesty family, announce the passing of Cynthia, who left us on March 21st, 2026, after a brief illness. 

Cynthia was the beloved daughter of Archie Jesty, of North Sydney, and the late Amelia (Sylliboy) Jesty. Cynthia was born on May 12th, 1962. She was a daughter, sister, cherished Auntie, and friend. Cynthia was known for her kind heart and friendly manner.

Left to mourn are her siblings Charlotte (Wayne), Charmaine (Jonathan), Timmy (Amanda), Derrick, Jennifer (Curtis), as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

Besides her mother, Cynthia was predeceased by her brother Frank and her great nephew Grayson MacDonald. Also left to mourn is Cynthia’s good friend Dee.

By request of the family there will be no service. Arrangements are under the care of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney. Online condolences can be left for the family on the tribute wall.
