It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Daniel James MacNeil of Iona on January 28, 2026 at the Victoria County Memorial Hospital at the age of 77.
He was a quiet and gentle man who will be missed.
Special thanks to the entire staff at the Victoria County Memorial Hospital for their excellent care of James over the last number of weeks. A burial at St. Barra Cemetery in Christmas Island will take place at a later date. Condolences can be left for loved ones by writing on the tribute wall of the obituary.
