It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son, father, grandfather, life partner, brother & uncle, David "Darrell" Tobin, age 58, of North Sydney on July 22, 2021.

Born in North Sydney on June 4, 1963, he was the son of David Tobin and the late Leona (Robinson) Tobin. Darrell found his passion in life through being a lifelong, diehard fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He never missed a game. Darrell had a deep love for all animals, especially his beloved cats. He also enjoyed spending time with his very best friend and grandson, Dalton.

Darrell is survived by his daughter Ashley (Lynne); his son, Darrell (Hillori); step-daughter, Nicole (Jess); step-son, Stephen (Teshanna) & grandson, Dalton; by his best friend, Alex Ivey and the ongoing love of his life, Denise Connolly.

Darrell is also survived by his loving siblings, Lisa Roland, Blair and Scott (Suzanne) Tobin, his sister-in-law, Wendy, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mom, Leona, and special brother-in-law, Ronnie Roland.

As per Darrell's wishes, there will be no visitation or church service. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney. Online condolences may be sent to info@wjdooley.com .
