Dianne Styles Hall

It is with deep sadness that we, the family of Dianne Styles Hall, announce her passing on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the age of 67, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Born in North Sydney on December 20, 1957, Dianne was the daughter of the late Montford and Ruth (Butt) Styles. Dianne enjoyed her work as a CCA working in long term care. Family was very important to her and the center of her life. She was a person with a dry sense of humor and described as ‘sweet but spicy’. Dianne loved spending time camping at Lake Ainslie over the years.

Dianne is survived by her children: Laura (Craig) MacNeil, Derrick Hall; sisters: Nancy (Kevin) Robinson, Ruth Ann (David) Ivey; sister-in-law: Wanda Styles; grandchild: Gabryella “Bumpkin”.

Besides her parents, Dianne was predeceased by her husband George Alexander Hall and brother Paul Styles.

The family wish to thank the staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, and Dr. Bill MacDonald, for their compassion and care for Dianne.

A visitation for Dianne will take place from 1-3 pm, Monday, June 9, 2025, at the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney.   A funeral service will begin at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Debbie Fice officiating. Online condolences can be left for the family by leaving a message on the tribute wall.
