Ed Ramsey

Carl Edward “Ed” Ramsey passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026.  Born in North Sydney March 17, 1944, he was the son of the late David Hugh and Harriet Ellen (Benight) Ramsey. 

Besides his parents, Ed was predeceased by his brothers Ron, Hugh, Harold, Eugene and Bill, and his sister Marie.  He is survived by his brother Glen (Royce) of Halifax.

A private family ceremony will be held later in the year under the care and direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney. Memorial donations may be made to the Northside General Hospital or Feed Nova Scotia. Online condolences can be left for the family on the tribute wall of the obituary.
