It is with great sadness and shattered hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear son, brother and uncle, Jason Timbury on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the young age of 37.
Born in North Sydney on October 27, 1986, he was the son of George and Cathy (Hoeg) Timbury. Jason was an avid lover of Pokemon, video games and four wheeling. Anytime you were looking for Jay you could find him either spending endless hours playing pokemon with his mother, playing video games with his brother and best friend George or riding the trails on his bike with the “Mudder F$%#ers.”
Jason is survived by his devoted parents Cathy and George (Tracey Clark), his brother and best friend George Timbury (Randilee Greene) and his niece and nephew Vada and Dexton, whom he adored deeply. Jason is also survived by his step-brothers Justin, Grayson and Jeremiah, loving grandparents Rose Hoeg (the late Cyril Hoeg) and Geraldine Timbury (the late George Timbury), Tanya O’Toole and many other aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly.
Visitation for Jason will be held 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney, with evening prayers officiated by Rev. Debbie Fice.
