Linda Marie Harbinson 

It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Linda Marie (Chislett) Harbinson on June 13, 2024 at the age of 70

Born in North Sydney on September 2nd, 1953, Linda was the daughter of the late John (Jack) Chislett and Jean (Robinson) Chislett.

Linda is survived by her only son Norman Chislett and daughter in- law Lori Chislett, St. Catharine's, her sister Janie Chislett and 5 grandchildren; Chase, Nyomi, Hope, Krystle and Luke. She will be dearly missed by her great grandchildren; Carter, Nolan and Chase, as well as nieces and nephews; Albert, Sean, David, John, Kathryn, Heather and Megan. 

Besides her parents, Linda was predeceased by her partner Doug Pretty and five siblings; Albert, Rollie, Diane, John, and Curtis Chislett. As well as her sister in-law Brenda Chislett and great nephews; Josh, John and Roland.

Linda spent most of her adult life living in St Catharine's Ontario with her partner Doug and where she lived close to her son and grandchildren. During her younger years she served as a waitress and a bartender in Ontario. Eventually she fulfilled her wish to move back to her homestead in Cape Breton, and was able to enjoy time with her sister Janie. She had many close friends in her life time from Cape Breton to St Catharine's and will be remembered for her big heart and being the life of the party. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 

By request there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to W.J.
