Mark Gordon Boyd

It is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our son, father, brother, cousin and friend, Mark Gordon Boyd, on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax, at the age of 32.

Born in North Sydney, Mark was the son of Edgar Boyd and Laurie MacKenzie.

Mark was a labourer and worked in the construction industry in western Canada.

Left to mourn Mark’s passing are his parents, his pride and joy – his son Landon, his brother Steven, and his grandmother Mary Boyd.

A Celebration of Life for Mark will be held from 2-4 pm, Thursday July 31, 2025, at 585 Mountain Road, Coxheath.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney.  Online condolences can be left for the family on the tribute page of the obituary.
