It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Michael Blair Christie age 64, on Wednesday November 30, 2022 at the Northside General Hospital.

Born in North Sydney on September 1, 1958, he was the son of the late Martin and Annie (Cottrell) Christie.

Michael is survived by his sisters Ruth (Keith) Hiscock, Brenda (Bob) Long, Georgina Christie and Helen Lights, his brother Lawrence Christie and a number of nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by sisters Dolores Long, Maureen Hazelton, Maudine Christie, brother Glen Christie and step-brother Lawrence “Crunch” Christie. 

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the W.J.
