It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our mother Nancy Marie (Hastie) Beddow, age 73, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. 

Born in Sydney Mines on March 9, 1949, Nancy was the daughter of the late Archibald and Theresa (Haggarty) Hastie.  She spent her career working as a resident care worker with the Autism Society for 19 years.

Nancy is survived by her sons Dwayne, Steven, Michael and daughters Pauline and Tamara; grandchildren Steven, Summer, Ashley, Gracie, Andrew, Katelyn, Amber, Michael, Brandon, Laura Lee, Ronnie, Shamus and many great grandchildren.  Also surviving are her brothers Jim and John, and sister Debbie. 

Nancy was predeceased by the love of her life Garfield LeMoine and her dearest sister Noelle.  She was also predeceased by her brother Darrel and her great-granddaughter Autumn Lee.
