It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our mother and dear grandmother, Priscilla LeMoine, on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Born in Point Aconi on August 28, 1948, Priscilla was the daughter of the late John A. and Marguerite (Leblanc) Jessome.

Priscilla worked for many years as a housekeeper at the former North Star Inn.  Her greatest joy was her family, and in particular, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  They were the light of her life.  Priscilla is survived by her daughter Irene (Kevin) Fry; son Mike (Denise); grandchildren Renee (Mandel), Ryan (Kayla), Ryan, Sophia and Maia; great-grandchildren Andrew, Madison, Kallie and Lacey; brother Sidney (Kitty); sister Shirley (Joe) Darai.  Priscilla was the much-loved rock of the family and she will be greatly missed.

Besides her parents, Priscilla was predeceased by her husband Ian Foss and her brother Ronald Jessome.

We would love to thank the great staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and the Northside Homemakers Association.

By request there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private service for Priscilla will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of W.J.
