It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terrance Boudreau on Monday, April 24, 2023, at the age of 95.

Born in Alder Point on September 27, 1927, Terrance was the son of the late Edmund and Edna (LeBlanc) Boudreau.  He is survived by his sister-in-law, Kay Boudreau, his nephew Bob Boudreau and two grand nephews.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his three brothers Jerry, Byron and Harley and his nephew, Gary Boudreau.

He was a long-time member of the Seafarers International Union and would often reminisce about the many ports he visited while sailing on the lake boats.  Terrance liked to recall his adventures of a trip to British Columbia with his friends during his younger years.  He enjoyed watching baseball and hockey on TV and would often ask “Is Sid the Kid playing tonight?”  Terrance took great pride in keeping his many new cars clean and well maintained. He was a soft-spoken, friendly individual who welcomed people into his home. Thank you, Reg, for the many visits.  

We would like to thank the staff of the Northside Community Guest Home, where Terrance resided, for their excellent care. Thank you to the staff of An Cala, Cape Breton Regional Hospital for your care and concern during Terrance’s time there. Terrance will be greatly missed by Terry, Keith, Brenda and Tom.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney.  Cremation has taken place.
