Terrance Andrew Conron

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terrance Andrew Conron, age 63, on Sunday July 13, 2025 at the Northside Community Guest Home.

Born in Glace Bay, March 16, 1962, Terry was the son of Barbara (Wilkinson) Conron and the late Ernest Conron and his biological parents Mary Johanna “Chuckie” Mischiek and the late Raymond Conron. Terry was the Grandson of Rita (Young) and Andrew Conron.

Terry and family owned and operated Terry’s McKeen Street Dairy in Glace Bay for over 40 years.

Terry was a Canadian Military Veteran. He was employed in Aviation Inspection at Vancouver Airport with Nondestructive Testing (NDT), later returning to Cape Breton and working as an electrician.

Terry is survived by his son Logan and his daughter Kaitlyn Conron, along with their mother, Dawn Sexton. He is also survived by his brothers Jim (Linda), John (Victoria), Andrew and Gary (Jennifer); sisters Andrea (Todd) O’Brien and Raylene (Darrell), as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

A family graveside service for Terry will be held at St. John Cemetery, Glace Bay in July 23,2025 at 10 am. Arrangements are under the care and direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney.  Online condolences can be left for the family on the tribute page of the obituary.
