It is with sadness that we the family announce the peaceful passing of Terrance “Terry” Ferguson on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.

Born in Florence on October 1, 1959, he was the son of Isabel (Steffens) and the late Murray Ferguson. Terry loved hunting with his father and driving with his brother Ronnie in his many sports cars over the years. He loved people and seemed to know everyone. Terry was a volunteer with the AIDS Coalition.

Besides his mother Isabel, he is survived by his life partner, Roberta Nicholson; his daughter Tessa Harrietha; his brothers Ronnie and Greg; and sister, Wendy Ferguson.

He was predeceased by his father, Murray; his brother Melvin Ferguson; and a brother at birth.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney. Online condolences may be sent to the family by leaving a message on the tribute wall of the obituary at www.wjdooley.com.
