How saddened I was to learn of Joe's passing.
He & I first joined the 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise's) on its formation as the regular component in Camp Gagetown NB in 1957.
Joe was a likeable hard working soldier who, it was quickly discovered had an outstanding sports talent of hockey goaltending. He was our number one goalie for a number of years in Gagetown & West Germany!
I send my deepest codolences to all family members.
Joe will be remembered. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Dave
