I am so sorry to hear the news of Rita's passing; she was a wonderful Lady whom I had the pleasure of knowing. I am the daughter of a war bride also Betty MacDonald and she was one of the many war brides whom your Mom knew through the War Brides Club of North Sydney. I had the pleasure of Organizing the last War Brides Dinner held at the North Sydney Legion a few years ago and was able to renew friendships with many of my mothers friends. There are so few of these ladies left. God Bless you and your family and hope you find peace in knowing she is no longer in any pain.
