I am so very sorry to hear of Norm's passing. I still remember him helping me skate during our elementary school trips to the North Sydney Forum. My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire family. Take care and comfort in one another.

I so wish that I could be there with my family.I have been looking through photo albums reminiscing about times spent together in Cape Breton and Newmarket. This kind and gentle man loved to tease and create stories about so many. We loved swimming in the beautiful Bras Dor lakes. My heart goes out to Auntie Beth, Georgie, Aaron, grandchildren, Don, nephews. He was a much loved man.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of Norm. He was a great friend to my Dad and I know he will be missed by him and by many others. I always enjoyed Dad's stories about their adventures - climbing cliffs and scaling mountains on their many walks during which I know many hours were spent reminiscing about their time in the Pit.
